Spring is just around the corner, and that means that the boys of summer will soon be back on the playing field! Many major league baseball teams host special dog-themed games during the 2024 season, so be sure to “pitch” the idea of attending a Bark in the Park game to your baseball-loving dog!
Arizona
Arizona Diamondbacks Dog Days of Summer
On April 16, the Diamondbacks will head to the baseball diamond to play the Chicago Cubs in a Bark at the Park game.
Prior to the first pitch, pups and their pet parents can participate in a pre-game parade, and when the game is over sports-loving Spots will go home with a swag bag!
A happening with heart, a portion of the proceeds from each sold ticket will be donated to Joybound.

California
San Diego Padres at The Barkyard
Baseball buffs and their buddies who bark can watch their favorite team play on April 3rd (against the St. Louis Cardinals), April 30th (against the Cincinnati Reds), July 9th (against the Seattle Mariners) and August 12th (against the Pittsburgh Pirates) during special Bark At The Park games.
Not only does each dog-friendly event include either special treats or a toy for attending tailwaggers, it also includes a donation to Petco Love for each human ticket purchased.
While the Padres invite pups to special Bark At The Park games each year, pooches of pet parents who purchase special seating in The Barkyard can watch every game the Padres play at Petco Park. Families with dogs can fill out an online form to get on the waitlist for a coveted opening.
San Francisco Dog Days
A game that will be a real game changer for dogs and cats in need, a portion of the proceeds from both Dog Days events will benefit the San Francisco SPCA.
Canines who come to the April 27 game against the Pittsburgh Pirates will receive a dog collar, and those attending the September 28 game against the St. Louis Cardinals will get a dog leash to take home.
Prior to the first pitch, costume-clad pups can promenade on the playing field in a parade!
Florida
Miami Marlins Bark at The Park
Pups and pet parents can see all of the action from the Promenade Level as the Marlins host eleven Bark at The Park events:
April 1– vs. the Los Angeles Angels
April 15– vs. the San Francisco Giants
April 29– vs. the Washington Nationals
May 20– vs. the Milwaukee Brewers
June 2– the game against the Texas Rangers will include a donation to the Humane Society of Greater Miami.
June 17– vs. the St. Louis Cardinals
July 7– vs. the Chicago White Sox
July 22– Miami Animal Rescue will benefit when the Marlins play ball with the New York Mets
August 5– vs. the Cincinnati Reds
August 19– vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks
September 8– In the last Bark at The Park of the 2024 season, Miami Animal Rescue will benefit as the team takes on the Philadelphia Phillies
Tampa Bay Rays Dog Days at The Rays
Canines will be sitting in the catbird seat when the Rays play ball with the San Francisco Giants on April 14. After watching players slide into home base, attending tailwaggers will go home with a Dog Day-themed gift.
Maryland
Baltimore Orioles Bark at Orioles Park
Sports-loving dogs can watch the Orioles play on April 16 and September 18!
Michigan
Detroit Tigers Bark in The Park
Helping dogs and cats who are looking for a forever “home team,” a donation to Michigan Humane will be made when the Detroit Tigers go to bat on April 30, May 14, September 10 and September 25.
Pups present will receive a special memento at each Bark in the Park game: a reversible bandana on April 30, a Tigers dog bag holder on May 14, a Tigers dog food mat on September 10 and a Tigers branded rope toy on September 25.
Missouri
Kansas City Royals Bark at the Park
The Royals will once again reign supreme in the hearts of their fans when they host three Bark at The Park games in 2024.
Pups who attend the first Bark at the Park of the season on April 23 when the team takes on the Blue Jays will receive a leash. Dogs seated in the lower level left field corner of Kauffman Stadium for Bark at the Park 2 to watch the Royals go up against the Detroit Tigers on May 21 will go home with a bag. Barking baseball buffs attending the last Bark at The Park of the year, with the Royals face the Guardians on September 3, will receive a plush toy.
Minnesota
Minnesota Twins
Welcoming four-legged fans for the first time in 2024, on April 22nd pet parents and their pups will be sitting in the special section of Target Field to watch the game. Barking baseball buffs will also receive a Twins-themed dog water bottle.
Missouri
St. Louis Cardinals Purina Pooches in the Park
The Cardinals will host Purina Pooches in the Ballpark on May 4th, when the team faces the Chicago White Sox.
All four-legged attendees will get to go home with a Purina goodie bag. Food and drinks are included for two-legged Pooches ticket holders.
New York
New York Mets Bark at the Park
The Mets have hosted Bark at The Park games for many years. We will fetch all of the details about this year’s events as soon as they become available!
Ohio
Cincinnati Reds Bark in the Park
Hoping to be chosen to be a MVP (Most Valuable Pet!) in a forever family, adorable adoptables from the SPCA Cincinnati Organization will be in the pet expo area of Cincinnati Reds’ Bark in the Park games, which will take place:
May 22nd when they face the San Diego Padres
June 24th against the Pittsburgh Pirates
August 12th, when the team goes up against the St. Louis Cardinals
September 18th, when the team goes to bat against the Atlanta Braves
Pennsylvania
Pittsburgh Pirates Pup Nights at PNC Park
Canines and their human companions can cheer on the Pirates from a special seating area during 11 Pup Night games!

Presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Rover can root for the Astros from a specified area on September 1. Details of the upcoming game have not yet been released.
Texas Rangers Bark at the Park
Pet parents and their pups can cheer on the Rangers together as the team takes on the Angels on August 16th.
Washington
Seattle Mariners Bark at the Park
The Mariners will reel in two-and four-legged baseball buffs to six Bark at the Park games:
April 29th, when they face the Atlanta Braves
May 29th, when they go up against the Houston Astros
June 10th, against the Chicago White Sox
July 2nd, when they play the Baltimore Orioles
August 7th, when they go to bat against the Detroit Tigers
September 12, when they go to bat against the Texas Rangers
Dogs and their humans can cheer on their favorite team from the designated Bark at the Park area, which will include comfort stations, a waste disposal management team and water stations for our canine friends.
Following the game tail-waggers can tap into their inner sports star with a walk around the bases.
Going to bat for a paws cause, $2 from each Dog Pack sold will benefit Pawsitive Alliance!
Washington, DC
Washington Nationals Pups in the Park presented by Budweiser
A team in a league of its own when it comes to helping animals in need, the Nationals invite sports fans and their Fidos to six Pups in the Park games in 2024:
vs. Philadelphia Phillies on April 5th (a date that includes a pre-game pup parade!)
vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers on April 23rd
vs. the New York Mets on June 3rd
vs. the Milwaukee Brewers on August 2nd
vs. the Atlanta Braves on September 10th

Wisconsin
Milwaukee Brewers Bark at the Park
The Brewers will host Bark at the Park when they take on the At. Louis Cardinals on May 9th.
A day of play with a higher purpose, not only will attending dogs receive a Brewers Beer can squeaky toy, a portion of the sale of Bark at the Park tickets will go to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
