7 Stunning Drugstore Red Lip Colors Under $15

Red lipstick is a year round makeup staple, and there are so many to choose from at the drugstore! Whether you’re looking for a long lasting red lipstick or a more sheer red lipgloss for a subtle pop, you don’t have to spend the big bucks for the perfect, classic red lip.

Here are my current favorite drugstore red lip colors that are under $15!

1. Milani Color Fetish Matte Lipstick in Poppy

$9-11 at Ulta, Target, Amazon

This is my most-worn matte red lipstick. The Milani Color Fetish Matte Lipstick formula is super comfortable and long lasting, without the dryness of a traditional matte. It’s enhanced with hyaluronic acid and castor oil for a nourishing and flexible feel, and glides on with full color in just one swipe. Poppy is a beautiful blue-based red in a deeper tone– grab this one if you want the illusion of whiter teeth!

2. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Uncut Ruby

$6.49-11 at Target, Ulta, Walmart

If you want a classic red lipstick with a shine, the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Uncut Ruby is the one to pick. It’s another cooler red but slightly brighter than Milani’s Poppy. The Super Lustrous Lipstick formula is made of 80% conditioning ingredients for a super luscious feel and smooth appearance that minimizes lip lines for a fuller look.

3. Pretty Smart Brilliant Lip Gloss in Susie Q

$8.68 at Walmart

If you want to incorporate a red into your look, but don’t want it too bold, then a gloss like the Pretty Smart Brilliant Lip Gloss in Susie Q could work for you! Since it’s a bit sheer (but still has great color payoff!), it’s a more wearable red for daytime and lighter makeup looks. The formula contains shea butter for a softer feel and sunflower lecithin antioxidants.

4. Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink in Pioneer

$9-11 at Target, Amazon, Ulta

If you need a bold red that will last all. day. long… then Maybelline’s SuperStay Matte Ink in Pioneer is the clear choice. This is a starlet red– again, more blue based– that will be flattering on most skin tones. This is a very traditional matte liquid lipstick in that it dries with a flatter, dry appearance and feel. But once it’s set, it will not budge, smudge, transfer or fade.

5. Milani Color Fetish Lip Stain in That’s Fire

$10-14 at Walmart, Amazon, Ulta

A long lasting option on the shiny side, the Milani Color Fetish Lip Stain is a great pick for dry lips. This is a hydrating stain with hyaluronic acid and squalane that looks glossy for a few hours before setting into a soft matte that stays comfortable, even on dry lips, with a transfer-proof finish. That’s Fire is a neutral red that’s not too warm, so will still work across skin tones, especially since it’s a bit translucent. You can see how it looks after wearing all day in my review here.

6. ColourPop Lippie Stix in Bichette

$7 at ColourPop

A sultry and seductive shade, the ColourPop Lippie Stix in Bichette is a deep cherry red. This formula gives a creamy finish that is long lasting and super pigmented. It is comfortable to wear and dry lip friendly, infused with Vitamin E, Mango, Avocado and Shea Butter.

7. Revlon ColorStay Suede Ink Lipstick in Bread Winner

$10-13 at Amazon, Target, Walmart, Ulta

If you prefer a traditional matte lipstick, the Revlon ColorStay Suede Ink Lipstick is one of the most lightweight mattes I’ve worn. This bullet lipstick has nearly the same performance as a liquid lipstick– I’ve gotten 12 hours of wear myself with only a bit of fading at the corners. Bread Winner is a bright neutral power red. While you get the classic matte look, the formula does contain Vitamin E to keep it from drying out, and I often forget I’m wearing a lip color when I’ve got this on!

What’s your go-to drugstore red lip color?
