Prince Harry, Meghan Markle 6th Anniversary Details: How They Celebrated

Date night! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s sixth anniversary was one to definitely remember. Years after their grandiose wedding at St. George’s Chapen in London, they opted to lean towards a more low-key way of celebrating.

According to Tatle, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted dining with Brian and Tracey Robbins at Lucky’s, an upmarket steakhouse in Montecito, on Saturday, May 18, 2024. They were spotted on the double dinner date a day after their sixth anniversary at a restaurant that is suspected to be one of their favorites. They previously accompanied the Paramount executive and his wife at the Bob Marley: One Love film premiere in Jamaica in January 2024. Tracey was also one of the lucky recipients of Meghan Markle’s headline-grabbing jam from her new business venture.

At their wedding, Meghan described it as a big party with as many of the Royal family members like Prince Harry, Kate Middleton, King Charles, and Meghan’s mom Doria Ragland. Many celebrities like Serena Williams and George Clooney were also in attendance. “I just really wanted the music to be fun. Even our first dance,” Meghan said in their Netflix series Harry and Meghan. A source told People at the time, “It was a huge dance party, everyone was letting loose and had a blast. Just a fun night and not stuffy at all.”

The couple just returned from their trip to Nigeria, which was their first trip after stepping back from their royal duties. It was part of Archewell Foundation’s partnership with the GEANCO Foundation to include mental health resources and training for young people. It also served as a meeting point to expand the Invictus Games which just celebrated their 10th anniversary.

“It is hugely important for us to meet directly with people, supporting our causes and listening, in order to bring about solutions, support and positive change,” Prince Harry explained during the trip. “There’s only so much one can do from home and over Zoom, so we look forward to travelling more because the work matters. Whether it’s the Archewell Foundation, Invictus or any of our other causes, there will always be reasons to meet the people at the heart of our work.”

During the trip on May 3, 2024, the Archewell Foundation was declared delinquent by the California Registry of Charities and Fundraisers. A form from the Attorney General of California, Rob Bonta, indicates that the foundation was not in compliance due to an oversight in the submission of annual reports and renewal fees. “An organization that is listed as delinquent is not in good standing and is prohibited from engaging in conduct for which registration is required, including soliciting or disbursing charitable funds.”

The delinquency notice states that the organization is prohibited from soliciting or disbursing funds until the issue is resolved. However, it seems like all of it was a misunderstanding and miscommunication between the administration.
