I live for a solid colored, well fitting basic top. Not only does it feel like a neutral palette to pair with any jewelry or lipstick (which is where I really love to be creative), but I find that they are often timeless and I can pull them out year after year for the season.
I have two ribbed long sleeve tops from Madewell from last year that I cannot wait to wear again this season, but in the meantime I’ve found a very similar (and more stretchy) version at Evereve. They’re so soft I have to try not to wear them every day!
For athleisure/lounge basics, it’s hard to beat the hold tight long sleeve top from Lululemon. I wear them all the time and they’re my go to in the winter months for layering under vests or jackets.
