It’s a standard-length prime lens designed for full-frame E-mount mirrorless cameras, but it’s also compatible with APS-C models, where it offers an equivalent focal length of 75mm.
The lens design incorporates an extra-low dispersion element to minimize chromatic aberrations and color fringing, enhancing clarity and color accuracy. The autofocus system, powered by a ring drive Super Sonic wave Motor, along with an internal focus mechanism, ensures fast, silent, and accurate autofocus performance. This also facilitates more intuitive control over manual focus. A switch for toggling between autofocus and manual focus is conveniently located on the lens barrel.
