I don’t know about your social feeds, but mine are packed with news of Team USA’s champion gymnasts during the Summer Olympics, particularly talk of Simone Biles, Suni Lee and Jade Carey. Every move across the mat or beam looks so intense yet delicately maneuvered—so when we found out one of the gymnast’s opted for $10 press-on nails for her routine, we were floored.

Suni Lee was spotted this past weekend in some of my own personal favorite press-on nails (you can read my review here), the KISS Salon X-tend Nails. The brand ambassador opted for her go-to style in Pure, an almond shaped nail with a French manicure.

KISS Salon X-tend LED Soft Gel System in Pure

“I pretty much always have my nails done. I’m obsessed with anything beauty really. This partnership was really, really important to me and I was super excited to partner with KISS and become a Salon X-Tend ambassador. As a gymnast, I’m always looking for things that are flexible, weightless, strong, durable, because we’re doing a lot on our hands so making sure I had something that wasn’t going to break easily was super important,” Lee said during an interview with the brand.

The Salon X-tend LED Soft Gel System—you can purchase a starter kit which comes with everything you need for a complete manicure, including an LED lamp and gel adhesive—allows you to create a salon-quality gel nail extension in a mix of shapes, lengths and shades/design options from the comfort of your own home. The nails come pre-sculpted and pre-polished, but you can cut and file them to your desired look without ruining the nails.

The complete starter kit retails for $23—you can purchase one that includes Suni Lee’s favorite nail finish—while individual nail packs retail for $10 and up thereafter.
