I’ve had a few disappointing experiences lately and have been deliberating over whether to write about them or not. Two of them were expensive – things that felt like a real treat when I booked them – and I’m always worried about sounding ungrateful if I have feedback that’s any less than completely gushing. But on the other hand, if something is sub-par and was also really pricey then isn’t that more of a reason to write about it and bash out the pros and cons and the highs and lows? If other people are saving their hard-earned cash for the same sorts of things then isn’t it virtually your duty to be honest with your feedback? Gah. I’m a coward and so I’m going to test these subjects out on you, behind the paywall. Ha! You need to act as my sounding board, yay-ing or nay-ing each topic so that I can decide on whether to write a big long post on them. It’ll be like we’re in the Roman Colosseum, except that you’ll just be saving or damning potential blog posts, not gladiators. Woo! Much less of a responsibility. Ready?
